Hearts & Horses has a variety of outreach programs designed to bring equine-related activities to an even larger population of people who can benefit from them throughout the community. We offer full-day and half-day retreats on the ranch, or we can bring programs to you with on-site visits.
Equine Experience
Ages: 4 through AdultOur equine experience is a 1.5 hour tour that includes hands-on, groundwork activities with our herd members. This program is available to small groups and community organizations.

First Responder Program
Police, Fire, EMS, DispatchThe First Responder Retreat Program offers a calm, private space for first responders to focus on well-being through guided horse interactions. This one-day retreat promotes connection, emotional health, and resilience through experiential learning.

Mission on the Move
Donkey VisitsMission on the Move brings the Hearts & Horses mission beyond the barn by delivering visits with our METSA-certified miniature donkeys, Paco & Levi directly into the community. This program provides comfort, connection, and joy to individuals who may not be able to access services at our facility, creating meaningful moments of engagement in settings such as schools, healthcare centers, and senior communities.

Leading from WithinOur Corporate Retreats offer a unique, experiential approach to team development through guided equine-assisted activities. Designed to be fully customized to each organization’s goals, these retreats create space for participants to strengthen communication, leadership, trust, and problem-solving skills through meaningful interaction with our horses. Away from traditional office settings, teams gain insight, connection, and renewed perspective in a calm, engaging environment.
