The legendary Lucky Hearts Auction takes place online, so anyone, near or far, can participate and support the Hearts & Horses mission. Bidding starts September 8th and concludes September 12, 2026 at 9:30 pm.
Our auction is a key component of our annual Lucky Hearts Gala that has 700+ community supporters both in-person and on our mobile bidding platform. The money raised at our Gala enables us to continue to provide our life-changing services to those in need, and our auction is so important as it makes up a large percentage of this critical funding.

Who Do We Serve?
At Hearts & Horses Therapeutic Riding Center, our mission is to promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social well-being of people with special needs through equine-assisted services. We serve the Northern Colorado region and have participants in four counties! learn more about us by reading last year’s annual report!
Where Does the Funding Go?
Hearts & Horses underwrites 61% of the cost of all services to keep our programs accessible, and 43% of participants receive additional financial support through our scholarship program. In fiscal year 2024–2025 alone, we awarded $645,527 in scholarships. We never turn a participant away due to an inability to pay—and that’s thanks to donors like you. When you give to Hearts & Horses, you can feel confident your support is making a real impact: 88 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to programming for our participants.
